Who We Are

NELIA’S FOODS is a Ghanaian-owned and youth-led agribusiness focused on the marketing and processing of fresh vegetables grown in Ghana into dried and powered product for both Ghanaian and international markets. The company was founded in 2020 by a young lady, determined to cause a change in the agricultural sector. NELIA’S in the inception phase, started as a marketing company that was into processing of Chili.

The company has progressed significantly over the years from marketing to value addition. This includes the addition of other products: onion, ginger, garlic, dawadawa. The establishment of our processing facility in WA, to process raw materials into finished product ready for consumption and export. NELIA’S has experience working with other donor agencies such as Coalition for positive impact (CPI) through their Igniting dreams pitch competition where we won the silver prize,we have also won innovative business of the year for UWESU awards in 2020 and have just been nominated for young agribusiness of the year for young entrepreneurs awards(YEA 2022).we also participated in Kosmos Innovative Center (KIC) business booster training, hosted in tamale (2022) and also the USAID training on Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP) in Tamale(2022).
